The girl on the train

Author- Paula Hawkins

Genre-thriller/mystery

Pages-409

I have recently just read The girl on the train, and i have to say its one of the best books i have ever read! This is for sure a massive page turner and you wont want to put this book down when you have started reading it.

The main character is a girl called rachel and she gets the train to london and back everyday so her house mate things shes going to work even though shes lost her job, and on the train she goes past the same block of houses everytime and one of the houses is the one she used to live in with her ex husband ( il get to that part later) in one of the other houses lives a couple who shes become a little bit obsessed with. They are called megan and scott rachel then notices that megan is seen out side the front of her house in front of the train with another man and rachel feels angry and that she can relate because her ex cheated on her, then megan goes missing and the police questions everyone even rachel who comes forward claiming she knows megan even though they have never met before.

The book is split in three parts rachels story the megans story snd then annas story ( rachels ex husbands new wife/girlfriend) this book will make you question each character in turn and it makes you rethink the whole book. If you love a book with a little bit of romance, mystery and horror then this book is for you. If your like me who wants you start reading a book you cant put it down untill you finish it  this is one of them books that your thinkinh i have to find out what happens next.

This book is so unpredictable and its full of twists that will shock you and keep you awake half of the night so maybe dont read before you go to bed. I highly reccommend to anyone who wants to read something a bit different.

I recently went to the cinema to see the actual film and its great i suggest to read the book before you see the film as some parts are different.
